I-City is an 18.5-acres integrated development comprising of a shopping mall, hotel, residence and commercial components. Located along Federal Highway at northern section of Shah Alam, it marks and celebrates the northern gateway from the west coast.

The design aim was to plan an ‘Iconic Metropolis’ with an integrated urbanistic functions to portray timelessness and to be internationally recognised. ‘City of Lights’ is adopted as a unifying theme to create this ‘memorable’ place. Towers are interconnected along a central spine which resembles a ‘dragon’s trail.

This development is home to the first mall operated by Central Pattana Public Company Limited (CPN) outside of Thailand; thus, named Central Mall.

Central Mall’s form and facade represents a bold statement in the overall development. Towers were positioned to form a visual backdrop to frame and define the proportion of the facades. Multi-level accessibility and connectivity within this iconic development are carefully thought out to ensure self-sustainability.
