Sunway Velocity is an integrated mixed development comprising of the following programmatic elements in 3 phases over 25 acres:

It is a mini city, a fully self-sustainable development where one can live, work and play within one place. The whole development which spans a distance of 1,700 ft from one end to the other at its longest side is a well planned development with an inter-connecting element being one of its main unique features.

The entire development is linked by an elevated pedestrian 'spine' termed here as the Environmental Deck. This deck serves as the main 'traffic free' thoroughfare to access the various developments. This environmental deck is flanked by retail shops creating a lively and walkable deck.

From this deck, the entire development is then linked by two MRT stations at either end of the development creating a strong sense of connectivity.

The shopping mall, which includes a hotel and an office tower forms the second phase of the development. These components sit at the triangular tip of the intersection of Jalan Cheras and Jalan Peel.

An expressive spherical element which is constructed with steel structures and perforated metal sheets, sits at the very edge of this tip forming a visual landmark and entrance statement for visitors approching from Cheras. The sphere will house key commercial components which includes retail shops, restaurants, banquet halls and gymnasium.

The spherical element will transform into an active facade during the night with interactive LCD lighting and and displays. The external facade at this corner shall be mainly full height glazing and outdoor terraces to maximize transparency, displaying the activities and liveliness within the interior spaces.

The third phase development will include components including shop offices, retail, SOHO, office suites and serviced aparments, with various heights of towers ranging from 12-storeys to 26-storeys.

These components maintain connectivity with the rest of the development with the Environmental Deck. The Environmental Deck sits elevated above ground level, ensuring that pedestrian passage through the site shall not be interupted by vehicular flows. The deck also connects to retail shops and central open green spaces at podium and street level which encourages pedestrian activity and flow, becoming a catalyst for social interaction within the development.

The SOHO and Office Suites will feature an exclusive roof top club with facilities, flexible modular layouts, double volume garden terraces and ultra modern facade.
